The coronavirus(COVID‐19) outbreak is a rapidly evolving situation that presents both health and business risks on a global level. During this unprecedented time, Vista Underwriting Partners, a Division of One80 Intermediaries is monitoring developments and our management team is working diligently to continue to execute our business continuity plans to keep our workforce safe while continuing to deliver the service our partners and clients expect and deserve as this situation unfolds.
The health and safety of our employees and partners is our top priority. Therefore we have implemented policies including travel restrictions, health monitoring and preventative measures at work to help prevent the spread of illness. We strongly encourage all partners and clients to adhere to the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations as well.
Therefore, effective immediately, we will accept the following benefit plan amendments made by employers:
- COVID-19 Testing at 100% coverage with no deductible, coinsurance or co-payment.
- Telemedicine with no deductible, coinsurance or co-payment.
- Upon request from the employer, we will allow for a 30 day supply of maintenance medications to assure an adequate supply the event of potential quarantine situation, as long as they have been recommended or prescribed by a Physician.
As most companies transition to a remote or scaled down workforce, please be mindful that Vista can collect premiums and issue claim reimbursements electronically via ACH to assist with business continuity plans. If you are interested in updating payment processes, please let us know. It’s as simple as completing an ACH form so the account can be established.
