Q: Will there be a separate application for consumption lounges? When will that go live?
A: Yes, we will need a supplemental application – I promise, it’ll be one side of one page!
Q: Do you see any type of policy that is in line with the Liquor Liability policy for Cannabis with the Consumption Lounges?
A: We assume many jurisdictions will use liquor laws as a guide for weed.
Q: Pre supplemental, what would you need to submit?
A: We will be finalizing our supplemental application soon – will NOT be too onerous!
Q: Will there be a separate coverage for this type of exposure similar to liquor liability?
A: Only for the exposures that may or may not arise for when a patron leaves the Lounge. Otherwise, the GL/premises and Products coverage is already in place.
Q: I know it is not cannabis-related, but Jim had mentioned an interest in Cannasure getting involved with the psychedelic market. Any idea when that will go live?
A: Probably not in the immediate future. Other markets within Cannasure might be moving that way.
Q: I have a client where the building that they are in is a commercial condominium. A few tenants have grow operations within the building. Would you be able to provide coverage for the building and liability? Not for the grow operations but premises because of the operations, standard carriers do not want the exposure.
